But it was their outstanding version of Richard Smallwood’s often rendered ‘Total Praise’ that really elevated the Spirit. “We engaged with the choir's management team during the early party planning process to see whether they could help us. The dilemma lay in the fact we were entertaining 300 new clients on the evening and we wanted to lift what could be seen as a dull, monotonous speech. After discussions, we concluded that a choir emerging from the audience would give the energy in the room a great lift and “kick-start” the following party. This worked fantastically well, and the shock and surprise factor was better than we expected. It was a pleasure to work with the team leading up to this on the staging and song choice, and their experience and guidance on this type of event was invaluable. The whole piece gave the party an extra edge and helped us as a venue become a memorable venue.”

“I booked the Incognito Gospel Choir after searching for a Gospel Choir for hire to play at our annual work Christmas lunch/party. My colleagues are a discerning lot so it was hard to find anyone who could possibly come up to scratch! I was impressed with the Choir's experience and examples of work so contacted Madge Obaseki for more information. Madge could not have been more accommodating - she understood my brief, the standards required and helped enormously in helping me shape the event both by suggesting ideas and informing the song list selection. She was always available and in touch which was extremely important to me in the run up to the event (and indeed attended the actual event). The choir were amazing - totally professional and such a lively bunch. They clearly enjoyed singing at our event and were most friendly and fun - not just 'booked entertainment', which was clear to see.

We all had the best time, and I think they did too! The feedback from my colleagues was outstanding - they were totally bemused by the surprise arrival of the choir (which was intended) but very quickly got into the swing. They all thought that it was amazing and didn't want it to end when it did. I would have absolutely no reservation in recommending this choir for any event and in Madge for all of the behind the scenes work & making it happen.
